Scott Farquhar and Mike Cannon-Brookes are the co-founders of Atlassian,
an Australian business software company that creates products that help
software developers and project managers. The two programmers began
their company in 2002 after studying together at the University of New
South Wales. They sourced their start-up finance from a $10,000 line of
credit on a credit card. The company is best known for its issue
tracking application, JIRA, and its team collaboration product,
Confluence. It caters to more than 35,000 customers globally, including 85 of the Fortune 100.
