Dunkerton got his big break when he sent one of his jackets to David Beckham (qv) on the off-chance of gaining his approval. The garment was duly worn and a fashion giant was born. Cheltenham-based SuperGroup floated on the stock market early last year, valued at £395m. It is now worth £1.16 billion. Dunkerton, 46, has a stake in it worth £380m and received about £30m after tax at the flotation.
