James Cameron is from Canada with a net worth of $700 million. At one time he had no more money than anyone else. In fact when he sold the screenplay for Terminator he sold it for only $1 just to be able to direct the movie. He later went on to direct Avatar and Titanic, the two movies that made more than any others in the history of film. His wealth will grow in the near future upon the opening of the Avatar theme park, which was originally set to be built in 2013 for a price of approximately $400 million.
