Sean Combs is an American rapper, record producer, actor and entrepreneur which has an estimated net worth of $735 million in 2015, according to Forbes.

Sean Combs started his humble beginnings when he worked as an intern for Uptown Records. After getting fired from the job, he established his own record company, Bad Boys Records in 1993. He ventured out with late rapper The Notorious B.I.G.

He signed up artists such as Faith Evans, 112, and Total. Also at the same time, he produced some of the notable songs for TLC’s “CrazySexyCool” album which became an instant hit.

Sean Combs was known in the music industry as Puff Daddy. He began his career as a rapper in his first album, “No Way Out” and released his first single, “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down” in 1997. The said album earned Combs five Grammy nominations in which he won Best Rap Album in 1998.

Other albums that he released are “Forever”, “The Saga Continues”, “We Reinvented the Remix”, “Press Play” and “Last Train to Paris”, many singles of which became widely known worldwide.

Combs also received awards under his name such as Best Documentary Feature for Undefeated at Oscar Award in 2012 in which he is the executive producer, and Outstanding Actor in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special for A Raisin in the Sun at NAACP Image Awards in 2009.

Aside from being a rapper and producer, he also tried himself to appear in several films and TV series such asMonster’s Ball, Made, Draft Day, Hawaii Five O, CSI: Miami, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He produced the hit reality show on MTV, Making the Band from 2002-2009.

He also formed his own clothing line, Sean John in 1998, owned two restaurants, Justin’s in New York and Atlanta which closed in 2007 and 2012 respectively. He also acquired Enyce clothing line from Liz Clairborne in 2008.

Sean John Combs was born on November 4, 1969 in Harlem, New York. He took up business in HowardUniversity before embarking his career as a well-known rapper.
